Studio
“The architect’s role is to fight for a better world, where he can produce an architecture that serves everyone and not just a group of privileged people.”
– Oscar Niemeyer
Studio provides the framework from which we begin to cultivate our understanding of architecture. Our studios are small, as each new generation at Rice yields only about 25 architecture students. Throughout the year, the studio environment serves as a platform for both independent and class discussion regarding current issues in architecture.
